What a way to start a show let alone a Video Music Award as Madonna and her crew pulled off a spectacular spectacle of sensations. I hear a lot of critics pushing back on who Madonna is or what she is trying to become but I view her as a person that shook up the world when she first came on the scene in 1982. Madonna original style and fresh new look is what captured pop and urban art and launched her career in music and show business.  Madonna's opening at the VMA was packed with originality and creativity and was enough to stop the channel flickers in their tracks.
