Bio

Ray, Goodman & Brown, originally known as The Moments, are a classic American R&B vocal group celebrated for their lush harmonies and soulful ballads. The trio consists of Harry Ray, Al Goodman, and Billy Brown, and they gained prominence in the late 1960s and 1970s with hits like "Love on a Two-Way Street," "Sexy Mama," and "Look at Me (I'm in Love)." In 1978, due to a contractual dispute with their label, they rebranded as Ray, Goodman & Brown and continued their legacy under the new name.

Their first single as Ray, Goodman & Brown, "Special Lady," released in 1979, became a chart-topping success, reaching No. 1 on the Billboard R&B chart and No. 5 on the Billboard Hot 100.
