Motto Also known as Lashley “Motto” Winter is the producer, chief executive, and founder of his own music label, Team Fox Music, which specializes in soca, reggae, and African music. He was born and raised in St. Lucia, but always dreamed of coming to the U.S. to continue his education and advance in the music industry. Lashley Winter (born October 20, 1994), better known by his stage name Motto, is a soca music artist & producer from St. Lucia. Lashley is well known across multiple Caribbean music genres worldwide for his energetic performances, out-of-the-box dance moves and crisp production value both in the musical quality as well as in performance presentation.Though his musical career at the time had begun to flourish, Winter was dedicated to his educational foundations. He continued his schooling at the Boys & Girls High School in New York City, graduating and going on to earn an Associate Degree in Information Technology at Monroe College in New York. To complete his educational journey, he would garner a Bachelors's Degree in Mass Communications at Barton College located in North Carolina, USA.

Motto would always sing a song or two on his own beats/riddims. The turning point in his career happened VIA an international collaboration released in 2014, originally titled "Tanbou Nou Riddim". This paved the path for Motto and his international recognition and success.
